Welcome

There is no struggle too dark, and no history too tangled for this space.

This work is for those struggling with mental health issues on all levels, be it the quiet erosion of their daily joy or the sudden devastation of a life altering crisis. It is for those who feel the heavy weight of depression, the sharp and breathless edges of anxiety, or the exhaustion of navigating a world gone mad.

This work is for those stuck on the treadmill of life, running faster and faster to meet expectations with no idea how to get off. It is for the person who has checked every box of success yet carries a persistent, hollow ache that achievement cannot fill. It is for those so caught up in the momentum of "doing" that they’ve suddenly become a stranger in their own story.

This work is for those seeking a path home to themselves. For those who are ready to tend to the raw, bleeding roots of their pain rather than just managing the symptoms for the comfort of others. The ones who have spent a lifetime contorting themselves in order to fit in, and are finally ready to experience the life-changing relief of truly belonging to themselves.

Depth Therapy & Psychoanalysis

We must clean out the wound to truly heal

While traditional therapy often focuses on managing symptoms, trying to "fix" the anxiety or "solve" the sadness, we go deeper. By tending to the original wound, we can change the patterns and scripts that have been shaping your story. We don't just patch the cracks in the exterior; we strengthen the foundation of your entire life.

Somatic Healing
& EMDR

The body remembers what the mind tries to forget

The body stores unresolved trauma as a way of protecting us from harm, but this also keeps us stuck in survival mode. Through nervous system regulation and sensorimotor processing, I can help you release the "survival energy" of fight, flight, or freeze trapped within your physiology, so that your brain and body can finally exhale.

Equine & Creative Therapies

A deeper wisdom that words cannot reach

Some healing happens beyond the reach of language. We can use the intuitive presence of horses to provide a living mirror for the soul, We or the symbolic worlds of Sandtray and Play Therapy to explore what lies beyond words. These modalities offer a sacred space to "get out of the chair" and tap into a deeper wisdom.

phase 1: stabilization

The Sanctuary of Presence

Before we can begin to untangle the complexities of your past, we must first ensure that your present feels safe and navigable. This phase is about the power of connection, the fundamental human requirement of being truly seen and heard without judgment.

We focus on building a sanctuary where you no longer have to measure the air before you speak or perform a version of yourself that feels acceptable. We create a sacred space together where you can begin to unclench and exhale. We move at a pace that honors your internal rhythm rather than rushing toward a fix. Using somatic awareness and grounding techniques, we work to settle your nervous system, and equip you with the practical tools and internal stability needed to handle the deeper work that follows.

The Milestone: The first Long Exhale - that profound and physiological moment you realize you do not have to be the strong one here, and you are no longer walking alone.

phase 2: discovery

Making the Darkness Conscious

Once your foundation is secure and the ground beneath you is steady, we begin the intentional work of looking at the shadows that have silently steered your life. This stage is about gaining clarity and awareness, as we gently lift the protective layers you developed to see exactly what they were meant to safeguard. We identify the survival scripts written in your childhood and the minefields you learned to navigate, as well as the family patterns that have followed you into adulthood.

This is the profound work of making the unconscious conscious so that the past no longer rules your choices. As you lean into this descent, you begin the work of developing your life to ensure that your daily world can support the weight of these new, honest realizations. We move through this discovery not to dwell in the dark, but to bring the light of awareness to the parts of you that have been hidden for far too long.

The Milestone: The Shift - the moment you recognize the clear and powerful difference between your Survival Self and your True Self.

phase 3: processing

Untangling the Knotted Threads

With the shadows identified, we move into the intricate work of untangling the knotted threads of your history. This phase is defined by an deepening engagement with the process as we begin to address the emotional weight of your discoveries.

Together, we deconstruct old defenses to honor your story, recognizing that your pain was once a form of protection that you no longer need. This is the sacred work of resolving internal conflicts so that the past no longer dictates your current choices. We ensure that as these old knots loosen, you have the support and clarity needed to step into a new way of being. We honor the minefields you learned to navigate while recognizing that you no longer need to live in a state of perpetual bracing.

The Milestone: The dissipation of the morning fog, that singular moment of clarity when you realize the grip of the past has finally snapped.

phase 4: integration

Reclaiming the Lead

As the heavy defenses of the past fall away, we begin the vital work of taking up space in your own life. This phase is about the deep work of differentiation, which is the ability to be your true self while staying authentically connected to the people around you. Rooted in the progress we have made, we practice the discipline of presence. This stage mirrors the profound lesson of showing up raw, messy, and real, allowing you to exist without the need for a mask or a performance. We focus on establishing boundaries that protect your spirit and discovering passions that belong to you alone rather than choices made to satisfy the expectations of others. You are no longer reacting to the world; you are leading from a place of internal authority and strength,

The Milestone: Stepping through the glass to become your true authentic self, finally living a life where your external world is a reflection of your internal truth.

phase 5: consolidation

The Settled Self

In the final phase of our work, the transformation moves from the sanctuary of our sessions into the vibrant reality of your daily life. This stage is the ultimate expression of the healing process as you begin to live with a sense of true belonging. This is the deep and quiet kind of belonging that requires no performance and no editing of your soul to feel safe. We work together to solidify your new connections and ensure you possess the steady tools to traverse future storms without losing your footing or your sense of self. This phase is about developing your life in a way that your internal growth is matched by an external environment of stability and grace. You leave our work with a bone deep knowing that you are enough exactly as you are and that your home, both internal and external, is a place of unshakeable peace.

The Milestone: The Distant War, which is the profound realization that the guard has finally abandoned its post and you are at rest.

Military & First Responders

For those who have stood on the front lines and are now struggling to find the way back to their own front door. I offer a space to set down the shield and process the unique traumas and moral weights of your service, moving you from a state of survival into a state of peace.

Children & Adolescents

I provide a sanctuary for the child who is navigating big feelings, and the teenager who is drowning in the noise of a world that demands they be "liked" over being real. I help them peel back the layers of social pressure to find their own authentic voice, spark, and identity.

Couples
& Families

Relationships are often both source of our wounding and our healing. By exploring the blueprints of attachment and the invisible patterns that steer family life, we can break painful cycles and create a home where everyone feels seen and valued for who they truly are.

Healing

Healing is not about becoming someone new but about the sacred reclamation of the person you have always been.

This transformation is the intentional journey of moving from a state of survival into a state of belonging where you finally feel at home within your own heart. It is the transition from watching your life happen from a distance to standing firmly in the center of it, possessing the quiet strength to breathe deeply and the internal authority to finally take up your rightful space.

As your therapist, my commitment is to provide a space where you are seen as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms to be managed. To walk beside you through the darkest parts of your story without flinching, holding a lantern when you cannot see the way forward. You will never be a "case" to me; you are a human being with a unique and sacred inner world, which I will honor with the respect, patience, and professional depth it deserves.

FAQs

  • Most modern therapy focuses on symptom management, giving you tools to handle a panic attack or a bad day. While those tools are important, Depth Psychology and Psychoanalysis look beneath the surface to find the source. We explore the unconscious patterns and survival scripts you’ve been running since childhood. Instead of just patching a crack in the wall, we are strengthening the foundation of your entire life so the patterns stop repeating.

  • Not at all. In fact, sometimes having no experience is an advantage. You won't be riding the horses during these sessions; instead, you’ll be on the ground with them. Horses are masters of the somatic truth. They respond to your internal energy rather than your external performance. They act as a living mirror, helping you see when you are truly present and when you are hiding behind a mask.

  • I am a private pay provider. This allows us the ultimate freedom to determine the length and type of your care without an insurance company requiring a diagnosis or limiting your number of sessions. This also ensures the highest level of confidentiality for your records. I can provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential out of network reimbursement.

  • Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Healthcare providers are required to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services, including psychotherapy. You have the right to receive this estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services. You can ask for this estimate before you schedule a session.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your estimate for your records. For more information about your rights, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • Because we are doing structural reconstruction rather than a quick fix, the duration varies for everyone. My therapeutic style leans toward longer term work, emphasizing deeper growth and transformation. Some clients find the relief they need in a few months of EMDR to process a specific trauma. Others choose to stay for a year or more to engage in the deeper work of soul reclamation. We will check in regularly to ensure the work still feels vital and aligned with your goals.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence based tool that helps your brain and body digest traumatic memories that have been stuck. You are always in full control and fully awake. It simply helps move a memory from a place where it feels like a current threat to a place where it feels like distant history.

  • You can tell them that you’ve found a space that doesn’t just look at behavior, but looks at the whole person. You can explain that I work to help the family system find its balance again by addressing the root causes of stress and disconnection rather than just pointing fingers.

  • Our first meeting is a time for us to arrive and see how it feels to be in the same space. We will discuss what has brought you here and what you hope to move toward, but we will also begin to notice the underlying themes of your story. There is no pressure to perform or have everything figured out. This is simply the beginning of building the safety required for the deeper work ahead.

  • Working as a private pay provider actually offers you an extra layer of privacy. Because I am not sharing your records, treatment plans, or a required diagnosis with an insurance company, your work here remains strictly between us. The only exceptions are the legal and ethical requirements regarding safety and the protection of life which apply to all clinical practices.

CLIENT RELFECTIONS

Who this Offering is not for

To maintain the integrity of this deep work and ensure your safety, it is important to recognize when this approach may not be the right fit. This is a path of exploration and long-term transformation, and there are certain situations that require a different level of immediate, specialized care.

  • If you are currently experiencing a psychiatric emergency, active suicidal thoughts, or are in immediate danger of harming yourself or others, my practice is not equipped to provide the 24-hour crisis intervention you need. This work requires a level of stability that allows us to look backward and inward; if you are in the middle of an acute emergency, please reach out to local emergency services or a crisis stabilization center.

  • Depth work and psychoanalysis are not about rapid symptom management or providing a weekly "to-do" list. If you are looking for a practitioner to simply tell you what to do, or if you want a brief, solution-focused intervention that only skims the surface, you may find this process frustrating. This is a journey for those ready to commit to the slow, sometimes difficult process of structural change.

  • Because I believe that our current struggles are often rooted in invisible scripts and original wounds, our sessions will involve looking at your history, your family dynamics, and your unconscious patterns. If you are only interested in discussing the events of the last seven days and have no desire to explore the "why" behind your reactions, this modality will not meet your expectations.

  • While I work with many people navigating the complexities of recovery, this specific depth approach is difficult to engage in if you are currently in the throes of active, unstable addiction. Deep psychological work requires a nervous system that is present and clear. If you are in need of detox or primary residential treatment for substance use, those services must come first to build the foundation for the work we do here.

  • My focus is entirely on the therapeutic relationship and your internal healing. I do not provide forensic evaluations, custody recommendations, or expert testimony for legal proceedings. Engaging in the legal system can often complicate the safety and privacy required for depth psychotherapy, and I prioritize keeping our space strictly for your personal growth.
